We told Megan the other morning that she was going to be a big sister ... that there was a baby in Mommy's belly. She turned around, looked at me, smiled and then ran back to her movie. It wasn't until later when Thomas woke up that we realized that she was excited about the baby because as soon as he woke up she told him about the good news.
Since then she has had tons of questions. When is the baby coming? Where's the baby? What did I do when I was a baby? Most recently, she asked what does the baby eat. This came conveniently just hours after we had a conversation about blood, veins and arteries. I initially told her that the baby ate what mommy ate. How? Mommy's blood takes the food to the baby. To which she replied
"but there's no spoon in your blood!!!"
